The San Francisco Auxiliary was formed in 1931, when Stanford Hospital and School of Medicine were still located in San Francisco. This Auxiliary quickly became one of the most prestigious groups in The City. Among the earliest fundraisers was an annual barn dance at the Sheraton Palace Hotel. Today, we continue to be a 100% volunteer organization raising funds to support uncompensated care & special project needs at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
