SF Auxiliary 2019
Special Project
'Caring for Hearts'
The San Francisco Auxiliary is proud to support the Betty Irene Moore Children's Heart Center at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford.
This year's Fund-A-Need benefits Caring for Hearts, a project that will embrace, educate, and empower families caring for their child with a congenital heart defect.
From diagnosis to discharge, families and caregivers of a child with heart defects face a lifetime of unpredictability, accommodation, and self-education. Managing health needs, combined with the emotional and economic challenges of caring for a child with a life-long medical condition can be overwhelming.
The Caring for Hearts project will provide an online library of educational resources and tools that help parents acquire information in the comfort of their home or on their phone, allowing them to learn at their own pace and empowering them as caregivers.
Your donation makes a difference!
Thank you!
