FORMING THE FUTURE
3D Printing to Educate, Plan, and Treat

Your generosity will benefit the 2022 Special Project, Forming the Future: 3D Printing to Educate, Plan, and Treat, an unparalleled program that combines medical imaging and 3D printing technologies that allows radiologists to provide a “physical” explanation of a child’s medical condition.

The use of digital scanning allows data of real-world objects to be translated into virtual 3D models. From there, the models can be used for a range of clinical uses such as remodeling oral cavities for babies born with cleft palate or replicating a defected heart to prepare for surgical correction. This unique technology offers an opportunity to “Form the Future”, which will improve patient/family education, plan therapies, and deliver customized patient care.

Your gift would lead to more successful outcomes for some of our smallest and sickest patients and ultimately the opportunity for a better life for children in our community and across the nation.
